Virgin Poker Triathlon

Virgin Poker is currently giving players the chance to win a seat in a €10k Triathlon Final which will take place at 16:00 GMT on Sunday 30 October. The Triathlon Final is so called because if you want to take part you will need to prove yourself in three different online poker disciplines. Those disciplines are the Multi-Table Tournament, the Sit and Go Tournament and the Cash Game, and you have until Sunday 23 October to prove yourself in all three disciplines on the same day.

It’s not going to be a walk in the park by any means, but it should certainly be appealing to those of you who like a challenge. To prove yourself in all three poker disciplines you need to achieve a certain level of success in each one, as follows:

Enter one of the featured Multi-Table Tournaments and get to the Final Table. The featured tournaments are the €6,000 GTD Rebuy or €4,000 GTD Rebuy which start at 17:00 GMT, the €6,000 GTD Rebuy which starts at 18:00 and the €12,000 GTD Rebuy or €10,000 GTD Rebuy which start at 19:00.

Win five cash game pots where at least six players were dealt into the hand and the hand goes to the showdown. You need to achieve this in cash games at €0.12/€0.25 or higher for No Limit or Pot Limit games or at €0.25/€0.50 or higher for Fixed Limit games.

Win a Sit and Go Tournament which has a buy-in of €3 or more. Note that Coolers, Heads-Up, Satellites and Triple-Ups do not count.

You need to achieve all three of the above goals on the same day, but with 12 days of this promotion to go (including today) you don’t necessarily have to pull that off on your very first attempt. If you don’t succeed today you can try again tomorrow, and so on, up to and including Sunday 23 October.

When you have proven yourself in the manner just described you can look forward to playing in the €10k Triathlon Final on Sunday 30 October, which means you will have a shot at winning a very nice pile of cash before the month is out.
