St Andrews Poker Club

Location:	Venue 2 (Top Floor), Students' Association Building, St Mary's Place, St Andrews, Scotland KY16 9UZ
Meets:	Every Monday night during term time. Plus various inter-uni team events usually held on Saturdays.
Membership:	Any student. Although if you let us know you are coming in advance, we will allow members of the public in with our discretion, but you will have to sign in to our student union.
Games:	Mainly No Limit Texas Hold'em, although occasionally we have dealers choice tournaments and Omaha tournaments.

Ethos/Comments:	Tournaments normally have approximately 50 runners. The poker is taken fairly seriously, but the atmosphere and banter is superb. We organise and run the UK Student Poker Championships and the Inter-Scottish Uni Championships. We also have a Society Championship with ex-society members making the journey back to Fife for the coveted trophy. We also have an annual Order of Merit and a Heads-Up Championship.
