True Poker

True Poker is owned by a Costa Rican corporation whose founders have combined their personal skills of computer technology and poker playing. Here's our experience:

Once the download was completed, we were asked to register, using their registration wizard. This was incredibly easy to use, very helpful and informative without taking up too much time. You are then given a choice of which character you would like to be when playing at the table. You can pick from fifteen cartoon character type pictures, for example you could be a James Bond look-a-like or a Cowboy - quite fun!

Once you've selected you character, this will then be added to your player profile and you are ready to play True Poker. However, it takes a good ten minutes for the graphics and tables to display on your screen, at this stage, are very basic.

Once you have selected your table, a Bartender will show you across. A maximum of ten people at any one time are sat at the table. The dealer is on your left hand side, and a click will reveal their stats. Should you want to see other player information simply roll your mouse over their avatar to see their current play. If you require more detailed information, just click on the button "Logs" and a breakdown of player, stats, and games will appear.

Although the concept is good, TruePoker comes across as a very basic poker offering when compared to other Poker operators.
