Poker Showdown Conduct
- At the poker showdown, all players involved must place their cards face up so that they are clearly visible to the other players.
- Players must not announce their own hands. Instead, they must retain their cards until the dealer officially announces the winning hand.
- All individuals in the card room, whether playing or not, has a responsibility to report any error that may occur when announcing the winner.
- The dealer will not award the pot to the winner until all losing hands have been killed.
- It is a privilege of any player who has been dealt in to request to see any hand participating in the showdown. However, a privilege is not a right, and may therefore be revoked to prevent abuse, at the dealer's discretion.
- Should a player show any cards to another player in the hand, all players in the hand automatically have the right to see those same cards before acting.
- Should a player show any cards to another player who is not active in the hand, other players have the right to see those same cards after the current hand has reached a conclusion.
- After the final round of betting, the player who made the last bet or raise should be the first to show their cards. If all players checked or moved all-in, the player who acted first in the final round should be the first to show their cards.
- In a game where there is a side pot, after the final round the players involved in that side pot should be the first to show their cards.
